"Rumic World" is a collection of early works by Rumiko Takahashi, ranging from comedies to horror stories. In Urusei Yatsura, you can sometimes find this and that character from the Rumic World stories, sometimes obvious like the Fish Men, sometimes merely hidden like Yura. Thus, some of those stories (the funny ones) could be somewhat seen as side stories of the Urusei Yatsura series. There are also some Anime movies available basing on some of the short stories, like "Fire Tripper", "The Laughing Target" or "Maris the Chojo". |
