A while ago, I read two other reviews about Love Hina (I don't remember where, though...). One totally positive, the other quite negative. And, surprising for myself, I more or less had to agree to both of them.

Besides having strong and weak points, I guess whether you like it or not mainly depends on what you are looking for in an Anime series.
The basic plot of Love Hina has been used in many other Anime/Manga series before, like Maison Ikkoku or Karekano. However, Love Hina doesn't have those deep and philosophical parts, the plot is simple and easy to follow and aims mostly for fun. Nevertheless, the characters, their problems and feelings are introduced carefully, and almost everybody can find a character to identify with.

Being easy to follow is in my opinion one of the strong points of the series. When you just want to relax and watch something nice and funny, Love Hina is for you.

The sound tracks... well, when I heard the intro theme for the first time, I thought my speakers were broken. I think it was in that negative review I read, it was said "it sounds like slamming a Casio into a brick wall". I wonder what they were thinking when they composed this. It doesn't fit the series' mood a little bit.
So, from this starting point, you could believe sonic hell would await you in the BGMs. However, I was surprised to hear them being very soft and smooth, perfectly suiting the mood and everything.

Finally, some words about the Manga. The overall storyline is quite the same, but doesn't develop as fast as in the Anime. Still, the Manga has a different "feeling" to it which I don't know how to put in words.
Anyway, the girls look a lot cuter in the Manga (I just love that drawing style). And there are some really beautiful scenes that you just have to look at over and over again. Just therefore, if you love the Anime, you should try the Manga, too.

So, my final advice: If you like the genre, you should definitely see Love Hina.

The storyline of this OVA series starts some time after the Spring Special. It introduces Keitarou's sister Kanako as a whole new "problem factor", since she is in love with Keitarou, too (they're not related in blood).

There isn't much else to say about the OVA that hasn't already been said in the above review...
There's a new opening sequence that I like better than that of the series, though the title song still sounds weird to me.
The graphical quality is, as usual, quite excellent.

In context with the manga, "Love Hina Again" complies to the story up from Volume 11.
